I teach private lessons at student's homes and via Zoom from anywhere in the world. I take students of all ages, from beginners to advanced students at the college level, and teach a variety of styles from folk, rock, acoustic, classical, jazz, including concepts of improvisation, music theory, songwriting/composition and even lyric writing. I teach advanced Indian Classical music on Indian Slide Guitar (Mohan Veena/Hansa Veena), as well as world music fusion.
I also teach workshops and classes of Indian music on guitar and for voice, African fingerstyle guitar and applying different World Music concepts to guitar and composition.
I am available for private events, school programs, house concerts and other music related happenings, both as a soloist or with other musicians or my group Mahadev.
