Lessons

I am available to teach private lessons at student's homes in the Ojai area, as well as via Zoom anywhere in the world. (I have taught students in other timezones as well as Japan, Europe and Brazil!) 

I take students of all ages, from beginners to advanced students at the college level, and teach a variety of styles from beginning strumming and fingerpicking acoustic folk, rock, classical, jazz, including concepts of improvisation, music theory, songwriting/composition and even lyric writing.

I also teach beginning to advanced Indian Classical music on Indian Slide Guitar (Mohan Veena/Hansa Veena), as well as world music fusion, including African fingerstyle in the style of Ali & Vieux Farka Touré, Eastern European music and more.

Workshops

I teach workshops and classes of Indian music on guitar and for voice, African fingerstyle guitar and applying different World Music concepts to guitar and composition.  

Events

I am available for private events, school programs, house concerts and other music related happenings, both as a soloist or with other musicians or my group Mahadev or Whirling Davish.
